Noah's first spring...with SNOW on the ground??

Snow at the end of March????

As you can see in the background of this picture, we woke up this Sunday morning with about 2 inches of snow on the ground! This crazy weather doesn't seem to stop our little guy from being very busy though! Noah continues to amaze us every day with his new discoveries and blossoming personality! He has figured out how to roll over, laugh, and make lots and lots of fun little noises. And he is ALMOST sitting up all by himself! He is such a joy to have and we just love being Mommy and Daddy! We hope you enjoy these pics of Noah's last few weeks....he's been a very busy guy!!

I'm getting so big...so fast!

Well, this week I am turning 4 months old already! Mommy and Daddy can't believe how big I am and how fast these past 4 months have flown by! I have started eating rice cereal, am sleeping 10-11 hours EVERY night, and love my new babysitter! I also love spending time with my Nana and Papa every Monday and Friday and look forward to Grandma Katie coming to visit next week for an extended stay! Mommy and Daddy continue to be amazed at how perfect and fun I am and are grateful for me every single day! :)

Reminder: I've Never Eaten Anything but Milk

So the adults (or so they call themeselves that) decided I needed more food...something about diversifying my culinary portfolio? The first attempt was bland, boring rice cereal! I mean seriously, you want to try and start someone that has never had anything bounce on the tastebuds but milk, with something like rice cereal? How about a finely seared filet with holandaise and asparagus? I guess I'm at their mercy until I can figure out this walking thing.

Noah Laughing...Kinda

The bearded guy thinks he's a comedian, and every now and then I can't help but smile and laugh at him...even if it is just a courtesy laugh. (He'll never know)

I Have Called You By Name

Sunday was a very special day for us...it was Noah's baptism!

This was a wonderful day because we had both sets of grandparents there and Aunt Amie and Aunt Aleah made the committment to be Noah's Godparents.

It was also special because this is the church that Mommy was baptised and

confirmed in and it's also where Mommy

and Daddy were married almost 4 years ago!

Noah did really great and seemed to enjoy looking around at everyone in church! We hope to raise him to be a child of God and to teach him how to be a responsible and honest person. We are thankful for this great weekend, even though it went by so fast!

Mommy is trying to enjoy this last week home with Noah before returning back to work next Tuesday. It's going to be quite a transition for us since she's been home for 3 months! We also had a great time meeting Little Miss Hannah Casey last Friday. Mommy enjoyed catching up with her friend Liz, and Hannah and Noah enjoyed sleeping all the way through lunch! :)

How fast 3 months goes by...

It's so hard to believe Noah will be 3 months old this Saturday! We have loved EVERY single moment with him and look forward to what's ahead! It's my last week at home with him and I'm already dreading going back to work, but I know it's what has to happen. I just consider myself blessed to have had this much time at home with my little guy! I have enjoyed taking him to workshops, out to lunch with friends, over to grandma and grandpa's to visit, and just snuggling at home with him during these cold winter months. I do look forward to the warmer weather when J and I can take Noah to the park and on long walks...not just down the street!

Here are a few pics from the last few weeks...he is getting so big!

BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND

No, there will be no nifty story to accompany the pictures this time...just pictures of Noah from his first Christmas season. He's growing, and enjoying his time at home with mom...and of course misses his dad terribly now that he is back to work!
